Meet Our 2026 Board Nominees

Alexa Velasquez

As Director of Children's Miracle Network at the El Paso Children's Hospital Foundation, Alexa plays a vital role in raising funds and awareness for our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Since joining the Foundation in 2014, she has been driven by a deep passion to ensure that every child in our community has a healthier, brighter future.

Alexa oversees campaigns with national partners, leading initiatives that collectively raise thousands of dollars each year, often one dollar at a time, through grassroots and community-focused fundraising.

Prior to her work with the Foundation, Alexa served as a sales executive for a local Spanish-language television and radio station, where she developed, managed, and maintained advertising accounts. Her background in media and advertising strengthened her ability to build strong relationships and create impactful campaigns, skills she continues to apply in her current role.

Alexa earned her bachelor's degree in media advertising from the University of Texas at El Paso. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her young child, watching movies, and exploring the outdoors through camping adventures. Her dedication to family and community remains at the heart of everything she does.
